Umbria Arts Grand Opening & Community Day
Posted to Roxborough Park on November 18, 2025
Umbria Arts Grand Opening & Community Day 11/22, 12-10pm This event presents the public debut of a more complete vision for Umbria Arts—an evolving destination for art, design, and cultural engagement in Philadelphia. In partnership with Tomorrow Today, the adjoining bookstore and reading room will be active throughout the day, offering 15% off all titles and hosting a Communal Poetic Archive organized by Gab Woolley. Also featured: a Wood Grain Relief Printing Workshop and performances by Against the Grain (vinyl + contemporary dance party), Pleasure in Ruins (fireside), Sam & Louise (fireside), and Humano Imperfecto (fireside), along with food by Objects in Dinner and drinks by our new drink partner Two Locals Brewing. Built by hand with friends over the past year, the space brings together exhibition, design, books, and performance in an environment shaped by material, craft, and community-centered practice.
