Advanced Screen Printing - CMYK Photo Printing

This advanced class focuses on printing photographic reproductions through the CMYK process. CMYK—cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black)—are the colors that make up a full spectrum of colors when screen printed in layers. Students in this class will learn how to create color separations from a photographic source, coat a screen, and expose their 4 layers onto screens. Each participant will then be guided through the process of CMYK printing, including setup, registration, and printing a small edition. All workshop materials are provided. Each student is expected to submit a photo (in .jpeg format) in advance of the class. Details will be sent upon registration.
