Revolutionary Germantown Festival
The Revolutionary Germantown Festival is a free, neighborhood-wide history day that commemorates the Battle of Germantown. Cliveden and partner sites in Historic Germantown host living-history encampments, costumed interpreters, and hands-on activities such as candle dipping, paper making, and blacksmithing. Visitors tour historic houses and exhibits, hear talks and storytelling about the Revolution from many perspectives, and enjoy food vendors along Germantown Avenue. It's a walkable, family-friendly tradition that brings the community together around place, memory, and the people who shaped it.
