Tree Planting Celebration with Rewilding Philadelphia

Rewilding Philadelphia and New Kensington CDC host a tree planting to begin turning a vacant Kensington lot into a shaded, biodiverse public green space. Attendees plant native trees, eat free food, learn about native plants and hear a drumming performance; the project aims to plant more than 1,500 native trees in Kensington using the Miyawaki Method.
