In Print & Fold Riso Books , students will learn about Riso printing, book-folding, and the magic they bring to one-another. Students will learn how to create maze-fold and map-fold structured books, learning best practices for folding paper along the way. Then, they’ll get an introduction to using a Risograph machine and making a design for Riso-printing. Students will have time to draw or collage a design. Each student’s drawing will be printed on the Riso and layered with other students’ designs, showcasing the unique color-mixing properties of Riso ink. Students will choose one of the folds from the beginning of class to apply to these collaborative prints, resulting in a unique edition of books to swap and share with friends!
