Every Saturday from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at Palmer Park (Frankford Ave & East Palmer Street). Organized by the Friends of Fishtown/Stewards of Palmer Park, this weekly cleanup welcomes volunteers for trash picking, sweeping, tree maintenance, and planter installation. Tools, tunes, and snacks (usually donuts) provided. Volunteers get special discounts at Philly Style Bagels and Steap & Grind. Weather permitting.

Saturdays 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at 43rd Street and Chester Avenue. Established in 1998, this is Philadelphia's oldest year-round farmers market and one of The Food Trust's largest. The market moved from the sidewalk into 43rd Street itself in 2019, with support from Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Friends of Clark Park, and the University of the Sciences. Accepts cash, SNAP/EBT, Food Bucks, and WIC/senior vouchers.
