In-person workshop! Music From the Air: Czech Folk Songs and Improvisation with Iva Bittová

The Philly Folk Choir will be holding a workshop before THIS SHOW . Music From the Air: Czech Folk Songs and Improvisation with Iva Bittová 5:30pm-7pm In this public singing workshop, open to singers of all levels, we will learn traditional Czech and adjacent multi-part folk songs. Under the guidance of expert, conservatory-trained violinist and singer, Iva Bittová, we will then engage with these same songs through the process of vocal improvisation and reharmonization, echoing traditional melodies and harmonies with ones that we collectively and spontaneously invent. $20, no one turned away for lack of funds.
