Ages 12+ Good for: First time mosaic artists, Creating a small mosaic $55 per person $40 PMG members Location: Magic Gardens Studio, 1002 Watkins Street, Philadelphia BUY TICKETS Isaiah Zagar, creator of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, has a very unique and, some say, liberating method for creating mosaics. In this two-hour workshop the PMG education team will help you explore techniques used in the Zagar Method. Participants will examine Zagar murals, prepare and create materials, and make a mosaic. You will learn how to cut glass, break tile, mix grout, and lay out a small 9″ x 9″ mosaic to take home. This workshop will empower you with mosaic-making skills and inspiration for future endeavors. This workshop is held at our Magic Gardens Studio location (1002 Watkins Street), NOT at the Magic Gardens Museum. This workshop is open to participants ages 12+, but all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
