LaVar Walker is an American comedian, writer, and actor celebrated for his observational humor and distinct comedic voice shaped by his experiences as both a stand-up comic and a licensed pharmacist. Originally from Chicago, Walker brings a unique perspective to his comedy, drawing on his background in healthcare and everyday life. Walker first gained widespread attention after winning the “Stand Up, It’s Miller Time” competition, hosted by Kevin Hart, which propelled him onto larger stages and led to appearances on shows like BET’s ComicView, Shaquille O’Neal’s All Star Comedy Jam, and Last Comic Standing. His comedy often blends sharp insights on relationships, culture, and the quirks of human behavior with humor inspired by his work in pharmacy. In addition to his stand-up career, LaVar has also ventured into acting, appearing on Amy Schumer’s show Life & Beth, where he wrote and acted alongside Schumer. He was also featured in the comedy film Uncle Drew, adding to his growing list of on-screen credits. Kurt Braunohler is a comedian who once hired a skywriter to write "HOW DO I LAND?" in the sky over LA. In features, Kurt can be seen in the Oscar-nominated film “The Big Sick”, with Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron in "Long Shot", the horror sensation “Barbarian”, and alongside Michelle Pfeiffer in “Oh. Helium Presents: Ariel Elias at The Fitler Club
This show will take place at The Fitler Club at 24 S 24th St Ariel Elias is a comedian living in New York City. Growing up, this Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh at her bat mitzvah, and the rest is history. Today, her comedy is a fun mesh of unique, personal stories mixed with witty and wry observations. Most recently, Ariel released her debut stand-up special A Jewish Star through 800 Pound Pound Gorilla, which can be seen on their YouTube channel. Described as “a sly young comic from Kentucky” by the New York Times, Ariel has also been featured in Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and on Good Morning America. As a traveling stand up comedian, she has performed on the set of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was named a “New Face” at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and most recently performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. After catching Jimmy Kimmel’s attention with a viral stand up clip that displayed her cool, calm, and hilarious composure, he invited Ariel to make her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In the same week she also appeared for an interview on the daytime talk show, Sherri. Live jazz every Sunday from 10:30am-3pm at this Southern Italian restaurant on the Schuylkill River in East Falls. According to the restaurant's website, In Riva has been open for over 14 years, with nearly 100 patio seats—one of the largest outdoor dining spaces in the city. The kitchen specializes in Napoletana-style wood-fired pizza and house-made pasta. Dogs welcome on the patio.

Sunday nights from 7–9 p.m. at Otto's Taproom, the 70-seat gastropub at 29th and Flora Streets in Brewerytown. The bar is named after Otto Charles Wolf, the prolific 19th-century architect who designed many of the neighborhood's historic breweries during Brewerytown's heyday as one of America's largest brewing centers. Otto's focuses on Pennsylvania-brewed and European beers, with rotating taps and what Yelp reviewers call "innovative bar foods" in a "laid-back ambience."
