The Helium Comedy Academy is an ongoing monthly class which focuses on developing and honing a range of skills in various comedic disciplines including stand-up, improv, and sketch. Our philosophy in teaching comedy is understanding that training is essential. It's a craft similar and not unlike any dance, theatre or vocal program. There's a foundation that can be learned which will expedite one's success. Ongoing workshops are for everyone. Beginner to advanced. Management reserves the right to prevent customers from entering the facility who they deem disruptive or dangerous to other patrons.

Jaz Saini is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and content creator. Most famously, she is one half of the comedy duo YouTwoTV - a sketch comedy group that has amassed over 5 million followers across all socials and over 2 billion views. She is the recipient of the iHeartRadio Much Fan Fave Creator Award and has been featured as a speaker and panelist at major industry events, including TikTok Creator Summit, JFL Comedy Festival, and VidCon, sharing her insights on comedic and digital success. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she now resides in Los Angeles, California where you can watch her sketch show Please Take Off Your Shoes, featuring an all South Asian cast. Off-screen, Jaz brings her sharp wit to the stand-up stage with her solo show Live Laugh Love - a darkly hilarious take on her Indian family, mental health, and her complicated relationship with wanting to be white. PLEASE READ! This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
