jumpstART: One of a Kind Screenprint

Explore the immediacy of this one-of-a-kind monoprinting and screen-based process. Participants will create printed images using Caran d’Ache water-soluble crayons, soft graphite, and a range of monoprinting techniques to build layered drawings and textures. The workshop emphasizes simple, direct methods and encourages experimentation with an extensive collection of textures for rubbings made directly on the screen. No pre-planned imagery is required, as the focus is on discovery and play, though participants are welcome to bring sketches or images as source material if desired. All supplies are provided.
