Yannick Leads Strauss and Schubert

Wednesday, April 15·Rittenhouse·Kimmel Center

Dvořák’s Serenade for Strings unfolds with glowing melodies and folk-inspired warmth, moving from tender intimacy to buoyant, dance-like joy. Strauss’s Oboe Concerto, which has a special place in Philadelphia Orchestra history, shines in the hands of Philippe Tondre.
