Percussionists are the heartbeat of any orchestra, keeping the rhythm steady. And here’s the coolest part about being a percussionist: The entire world becomes your instrument! Whether it’s tapping on a desk, clapping your hands, or banging on a drum, if it makes a sound, it can be part of the music. The Sound All Around concert series is endowed in perpetuity by the Garrison Family Fund for Children’s Concerts, with additional support from the Acadia Fund.
