PET STORY w/ Anne Koszalka Philly based ceramic artist Anne Koszalka will share her story of working with a rescue dog named Midnight, and how that story became a graphic novel illustrated in clay: "Midnight "Don't Judge Me" Ruiz" (https://whyy.org/articles/philly-shelter-dog-graphic-novel/) Following the talk, Anne will lead a fun workshop demonstrating her personal techniques of using color and carving clay to illustrate animal story scenes. You'll then create 5 clay scenes of your own pets or animals you cherish! **Bring reference photos of your pets (phone photos are OK) All clay, materials, and kiln firings included. Your pottery pieces will be fired & glazed by MUG, and will be ready for pick up within 3 - 4 weeks after class. You will be notified via email when tiles are ready for pick up.
