Mt. Airy Decemberfest

Mt. Airy Decemberfest is an annual holiday shopping stroll organized by the Mt. Airy Community Development Corporation along the Germantown Avenue commercial corridor. The festive event features live holiday music, visits with Black Santa, fire pits, and live ice sculpting demonstrations. Local shops open their doors with special offers while artisan vendors, makers, and food trucks line the avenue. The walkable 1.3-mile stretch between Johnson Street and Allens Lane transforms into a celebration of the neighborhood's creative, community-focused spirit.
