Every Sunday from 4–8 p.m., The Plough and the Stars in Old City hosts a traditional Irish music session that's been running continuously since the pub opened in 1997. According to Temple News, around 40 different musicians rotate through these sessions, with an average of seven players gathering around small tables near the wood-burning fireplace. The session is open to the public—bring an instrument and join in.

Monday nights at 7pm, Urban Village Brewing hosts music bingo in their sprawling Northern Liberties brewpub. The space is rustic-modern with exposed brick, a year-round heated patio (enclosed in winter), and a rotating tap list of 15-20 house beers heavy on hazy IPAs and bold stouts.
