In our current exhibition, “ Face to Face ,” we explore the mosaicked portraits of Isaiah Zagar, founding artist of the Magic Gardens. Sometimes Isaiah paints an entire portrait on a single salvaged tile. In this exhibition, he often paints a single eye or mouth on a tile, then combines it with other pieces to create a portrait. Come draw on tiles and experiment in creating your own images to take home. Discover huge portraits hidden in plain sight during free tours of our fully mosaicked basement at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. PECO Family Jams are PMG’s family-oriented programs held on the second Sunday of every month between noon and 4:00 p.m. Crafts and basement tours are included with regular admission to PMG.
