Isaiah Zagar, creator of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, has a very unique and, some say, liberating method for creating mosaics.  In this two-hour workshop the PMG education team will help you explore techniques used in the Zagar Method.  Participants will examine Zagar murals, prepare and create materials, and make a mosaic. You will learn how to cut glass, break tile, mix grout, and lay out a small 9″ x 9″ mosaic to take home. This workshop will empower you with mosaic-making skills and inspiration for future endeavors. Please be aware that we will be working in a space that can only be accessed by stairs. This workshop is open to participants ages 12+, but all participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
