Ride Club at Neighborhood Bike Works
Ride Club is a free four-week after-school group ride program from Neighborhood Bike Works exploring natural, historic, and artistic spaces in West Philadelphia. Classes meet twice a week from 4 to 6 PM. The program emphasizes bike safety, rules of the road, and on-the-road bike repairs, along with lessons on health and fitness. Rides vary between two and six miles per day based on the ability of youth in the class. Neighborhood Bike Works can provide a bike and helmet to use during rides. Participants should know how to ride a bike and be able to ride 20 minutes without a break. Ride Club is open to youth ages 8 to 18. Neighborhood Bike Works is located at 3916 Locust Walk in West Philadelphia.
