McGillin's Olde Ale House
1310 Drury St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
Thursday nights at 9 p.m. on the second floor of Philadelphia's oldest continuously operating tavern, pouring since 1860. McGillin's survived Prohibition by serving "tea" upstairs—the same space where open mic now happens. The walls display liquor licenses dating to 1871 alongside vintage Wanamaker's and Woolworth's signage. Try the house-brewed Real Ale or Genuine Lager between sets.
