At this year’s January concert we present a program of glorious music by Beethoven, in which the brilliant piano virtuoso Peter Donohoe will perform two of Beethoven’s monumental piano concertos: the No. 4, which astonished and delighted audiences with its bold innovations; and the majestic No. 5, named “The Emperor” (though not by the composer), famed for its originality and beauty. Complementing this exciting program are two of Beethoven’s most famous and beloved orchestral overtures, the Egmont and the Coriolan .
