Musicians from Marlboro II
Each summer, musicians from around the world gather in the Green Mountains of Vermont to participate in a “fundamentally natural and unique” approach to music-making ( New York Classical Review ). In their second appearance this season, Musicians from Marlboro reintroduces Untitled —a 2023 PCMS commission by composer and MacArthur “Genius” Tyshawn Sorey—as well as a pair of works by Beethoven, including the vivacious Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20.
