    Tuesday nights at Manayunk Brewing Company continue a jazz tradition that dates back decades. According to WRTI and The Chestnut Hill Local, Jazz Night at Manayunk Brewery is the longest-running live jazz jam session in Philadelphia, celebrating over 22 years. The session, which inherited musicians from the now-shuttered 23rd Street Café, runs from 7–11:30 p.m. in the brewery's Jazz Room, where the riverside deck and in-house sushi make for an unusual jazz club setting.

Owner Kiley runs the weekly "Back to the Jam" session, drawing some of the best players in the city to a space reviewers call one of Philly's finest live rooms. The building sits on North 2nd Street, historically a three-mile marketplace and transit corridor where omnibuses ran from Kensington to the Navy Yard as early as 1833. The neighborhood served as a social center for Polish immigrants who opened dance halls and taverns here in the early 20th century. Sessions are live-streamed on YouTube; all genres welcome.
