Wednesday nights at The 700, the Northern Liberties bar that helped define the neighborhood's transformation from industrial hinterland to nightlife destination. Opened in 1997 when owners Tracy Stanton and Kurt Wunder—former Khyber Pass colleagues—bought a building with a hole in the roof for $35,000. The bi-level space features a neighborhood pub downstairs and an upstairs lounge that's hosted DJs like Diplo and Lowbudget.
