Every Tuesday from 7–10 p.m., The Plough and the Stars in Old City hosts live traditional Irish music. The pub opened in 1997 inside the historic Corn Exchange Building at 123 Chestnut Street, founded by Ireland natives Marion Ryder and Jerome Donovan. The session complements the Sunday afternoon session, giving Philadelphia two weekly chances to catch authentic Irish trad in a wood-paneled room with a proper fireplace.
