Hip-Hop Orchestra in Philly

When was the last time you witnessed strings, horns and piano at a Hip-Hop concert? Add to that, a party-rocking DJ, a soul-stirring female vocalist and a fire-breathing MC and that is still but a fraction of what you'll catch when you see Thee Phantom & The Illharmonic Orchestra in action! Combining the raw energy and passion of Hip-Hop, with the beautiful sounds of orchestral accompaniment, The Illharmonic was the first Hip-Hop group to perform at the Kimmel Cultural Campus in 2002, where they were backed by members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. The ensemble is returning to the City of Brotherly Love on March 28th!
