Open Mic at Ladder 15
Monday nights from 8pm to midnight in a converted firehouse with 35-foot ceilings, tufted black leather booths, stone walls, mahogany bars, and original steel railings. Ladder 15 has operated for nearly two decades in Rittenhouse. The truffle fries and Korean tacos are menu favorites.
Open Mic at The Fire
Monday nights at The Fire in Northern Liberties, running since 1999. The venue hosts open mic on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Mondays of each month (sign-ups at 7 p.m., music 8 p.m.–midnight). First Mondays feature a separate open mic meetup with a guest speaker via musicisourhero.com. The Fire has history—John Legend, Maroon 5, and My Chemical Romance all performed here early in their careers.
